On-Site Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a Field Maintenance Engineer to become a vital part of our team, dedicated to delivering top-notch repair and maintenance services for a select range of products, both company-owned and third-party, in a professional and efficient manner. This position is remote and will primarily serve the Surrey (Croydon) area.

What You Will Do:
As a Field Maintenance Engineer at Tunstall, you will need to exhibit outstanding customer relations and interpersonal skills, as you will engage with a diverse range of clients, including vulnerable and elderly individuals, while working on equipment in their residences.
The Ideal Candidate:
To excel in this role, you should possess proven experience as a Field Engineer, utilizing your electrical and electronic expertise to maintain and test various products, including Emergency Lights, Fire Bells, and Fire Systems.
Experience in a field-based role is advantageous but not mandatory.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- An Electrical/Electronic qualification at NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
- Experience in testing Fire Systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team.
- Effective time management and planning skills.
- Comfortable working at heights and/or in confined spaces.
- Experience working with elderly or vulnerable populations.
