Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Manage profit and loss for assigned key accounts, ensuring alignment with sales and profit targets.
· Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with retail partners to achieve annual brand and customer goals.
· Provide accurate sales performance reports and forecasts.
· Oversee promotional activities, account administration, and retailer portal updates.
· Prepare and present weekly and monthly sales analyses.
· Assist the sales team in creating impactful presentations for retail meetings.
· Ensure the accuracy and optimization of retailer e-commerce listings.
· Collaborate with the sales team to develop merchandising plans that align with retailer standards.
Data Analysis
· Evaluate internal and external customer data to assess brand performance and identify growth opportunities.
· Conduct post-promotion analyses to gauge promotional effectiveness.
· Prepare promotional profit and loss statements to evaluate revenue and profit potential.
Sales Forecasting
· Deliver accurate monthly business forecasts and communicate any variances.
· Work closely with demand planning and supply teams to maintain precise monthly forecasts by customer and SKU.
Commercial Strategy & Management
· Collaborate with internal marketing teams to develop top-tier trade marketing strategies for retail partners.
· Analyze performance metrics and report findings to the broader team.
· Support the development of point-of-sale materials in conjunction with marketing and design teams.
· Conduct store visits to assess brand presentation and promotional implementation.
· Monitor competitor activities both in-store and online, including new product launches and promotions.
Success Metrics:
Within 6 Months:
Provide timely support to sales teams with essential documentation and effectively manage assigned accounts while building relationships with buyers.
Within 24 Months:
Achieve and surpass sales and profit objectives while expanding account responsibilities as the business grows.
Candidate Profile:
● Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role within an omni-channel FMCG sales environment.
● Experience with online retailers is advantageous.
● Background in the Health & Beauty sector is preferred.
● Results-driven, energetic team player with a keen eye for detail.
● Strong commercial acumen, including understanding of targets, forecasts, and profitability.
● Proficient in analyzing customer and consumer data.
● Excellent communication skills with the ability to persuasively convey ideas.
● Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and evaluate opportunities.
● Quick learner capable of processing information and prioritizing tasks effectively.
