Public Service Vehicle Technician - Career Opportunity

Become a vital part of one of Europe's leading transport companies, Arriva Bus, as a Public Service Vehicle Technician. In this role, you will report directly to the Engineering Manager and be tasked with the upkeep of our fleet of passenger-carrying vehicles.

Position Overview:

  • Involves shift work, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends
  • 5 shifts over 7 days (specific hours to be determined)
  • Hourly wage of €16.27 (with opportunities for overtime at an increased rate)
  • Conduct servicing and repairs in accordance with company and DVSA standards
  • Focus on the continuous enhancement of vehicle quality
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections
  • Diagnose vehicle faults and perform maintenance to meet company standards

Qualifications:

  • Proficient knowledge of PSV/HGV maintenance with recognized certifications (e.g., Level 3 NVQ)
  • Capable of working independently and safely
  • Experience in vehicle inspections and maintenance practices
  • Electrical expertise is a plus
