**About the Role**
Manpower UK Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Designer/Design Manager to join their team in Burntwood. As a key member of the design department, you will be responsible for leading the team and ensuring that they are working to the best of their ability.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage the day-to-day workflow of the design department and provide support and expertise across the business as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to maximize business performance and improve workflow.
- Develop and implement design briefs from internal and external customers.
- Complete mid-to-medium complexity projects, including 3D renders using AGCAD software.
- Liaise with customers, including occasional travel to site for meetings and presentations.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and develop a small team of design staff, setting objectives and targets to manage and review performance.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to provide case studies and content aligned with the company's Marketing Strategy.
- Support the company's sustainability goals and stay aware of new products that can help customers achieve these objectives.
**Requirements**
- Proven experience in a design leadership role, preferably in the packaging industry.
- Strong design skills and knowledge of design software, including AGCAD.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to achieve business objectives.
- Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to make informed decisions.
