We are seeking a highly skilled Asset & Investment Analyst to join our Affordable Homes team at Legal & General Group.
About the RoleThe Asset & Investment Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting our investment activities, working closely with colleagues across the business and the wider L&G Group.
Key Responsibilities- Investment Analysis: Deliver valuations, investment, bid appraisals, and strategic initiatives to support our investment decisions.
- Market Research: Conduct research, market, and competitor analysis on the real estate sector, with a focus on housing.
- Portfolio Analysis: Perform data analysis to enable internal strategy and decision-making.
- Reporting: Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports, presentations, and board papers for internal and external stakeholders.
- Team Support: Assist senior members of the investment team with presentations and pitches.
- Financial Systems: Maintain financial systems for appraising development schemes.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the Real Estate/Infrastructure sector.
- Degree-educated with a strong academic background and numerical aptitude.
- Excellent quantitative skills, including data analysis and financial modeling, with proficiency in Excel.
- Experience in providing board reports and presentations is advantageous.
