Location: Cramlington, Northumberland

Salary: £120 - £180 per day

Contract: Full time/ Part Time

Job Overview: As a Literature Educator, you will be instrumental in enhancing students' literacy capabilities and guiding them to articulate their thoughts with confidence. Your dedication to the subject will be vital in making literature classes both enjoyable and informative.

• Design and deliver captivating and effective literature lessons tailored to students of diverse abilities.
• Encourage a passion for reading, writing, and critical analysis through innovative and interactive teaching techniques.
• Regularly evaluate students' assignments, providing constructive feedback and establishing goals for improvement.
• Create and execute differentiated lesson plans to accommodate the needs of all learners.
• Assist students in their exam preparations, ensuring they reach their full potential.
• Contribute to the enhancement of the literature curriculum and resources within the department.
• Engage in school activities, including parent meetings, extracurricular programs, and school events.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters respect and positive behavior.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialization in English.
• Demonstrated experience as a Literature Educator is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the English National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and classroom management abilities.
• Capacity to inspire and motivate students, encouraging them to achieve their best.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• Possess an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
