Job Summary:

Fusion People is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team as an EPOS Systems Specialist. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and maintenance services to our clients in the EPOS industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of EPOS systems and hardware components, including software configuration and installation.
  • Provide on-site technical support and maintenance services to clients, including incident handling and problem resolution.
  • Collaborate with our dispatch function to receive and update briefings on incidents and orders.
  • Participate in regular training and certification programs to stay up-to-date with the latest EPOS systems and technologies.
  • Work closely with our clients to provide exceptional customer service and support.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of experience as a Service Technician or Field Service Engineer in the EPOS industry.
  • Successful completion of education in IT or mechatronic/electronic-related profession.
  • PC literacy and good knowledge of relevant tools and methods.
  • Product knowledge of EPOS systems and basic ITIL skills preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy loads, stand most of the day, climb, bend, and stoop while working on equipment.
  • Acceptance of exposure to the outside elements.
  • Shift adaptability, including on-call rotation for evenings and weekends.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to organize and inventory truck stock parts and tools.
  • Sense of urgency, organizational skills, professional presence, and ability to work in a team environment.
