About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pension Administration Team Leader to join our Pensions Outsourcing Practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of DB and DC administrators, providing expert advice and solutions to pension queries, and driving continuous improvement in our administration processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day management of client relationships with trustees and corporate clients
  • Provide expert advice and solutions to pension queries and pension consultative advice
  • Keep abreast of technical and legislative developments within the pensions industry
  • Accountability for team's handling of errors and complaints
  • Inspire, motivate, coach, and develop individuals to achieve outstanding performance
  • Accountability for team's pensioner payrolls, pension increases, and responsibility to ensure all team's projects and disclosure requirements are completed by the respective deadlines
  • Lead non-client activities, conduct internal audits, and implement changes to improve pensions administration processes
About You

We are looking for an individual with extensive experience working with different occupational pension schemes, including DB, DC, CARE, or Hybrid schemes. Proven knowledge of pensions projects and scheme events is advantageous. Ideally, QPA or PMI qualified, with a minimum of 2 years as Principal/Senior Administrator or Deputy team lead. Proven experience of occupational pension scheme administration, quality checking, staff appraisal, and mentoring is essential.
