About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our Children's Services team in Trafford Council. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and families in need, providing guidance and support to help them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

In this role, you will work closely with children, families, and other professionals to assess needs, develop plans, and provide support to help children and families achieve their goals. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, attending meetings, and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Social Work or a related field
  • Experience working with children and families in a social work setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
