Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nanny to join our family in Southport, Lancashire. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch care for our two children, aged 2 and 6 months.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nurturing and engaging care for our children, including meal preparation, playtime, and educational activities.
- Develop and implement a stimulating play environment that meets the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Attend playgroups and toddler classes to promote socialization and learning.
- Maintain a tidy and organized play area.
- Assist with household chores related to childcare.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of childcare experience, particularly with children of similar age.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
- Fully enhanced DBS (criminal record) check.
- Paediatric first aid certification.
- Recognized childcare qualification.
- Exceptional references that reflect childcare expertise.
Benefits:
This is a long-term position offering a competitive salary of £38,000 gross per annum, dependent on experience. The role provides a fulfilling opportunity to contribute to a child's early years of development.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm (3 days) and 9am to 7.30pm (2 days), with alternate Saturdays 8.30am-4pm and a day off scheduled.
Accommodation:
Double bedroom with en-suite within the family home, available for live-in nannies.
Family Details:
We have a friendly dog and a busy professional mother who requires a full-time nanny to ensure the well-being and development of her children.
