Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Innovation Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team as an Innovation Leader. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of new and innovative products, while ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Lead the design and development of new products, including concept development, design refinement, and testing.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of design engineers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, sales, and marketing, to ensure that products meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve complex design and development issues, using your expertise and experience to find creative solutions.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

Requirements:

  • Education: BEng Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a lead or senior design engineer role, with a strong background in mechanical engineering and product development.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, including experience with FEA and other design tools. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
