Position Overview

The Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a dedicated and proactive Office Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently manage telephone inquiries from patients and healthcare professionals, ensuring messages are accurately recorded and directed as necessary.
  • Assist with general inquiries from both telephone and in-person visitors.
  • Collect and input statistical data using IT systems to support service enhancement and auditing processes.
  • Contribute to the review and improvement of administrative systems and procedures.
  • Maintain an organized electronic diary for room bookings and manage filing systems, both manual and digital.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring proper sorting and distribution.
  • Keep accurate records of goods and services received and dispatched, as assigned.
  • Support the administrative team in managing stationery supplies and equipment inventory.
  • Participate in mandatory training sessions relevant to the role.
