Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Wind Turbine Technician to join our team at Adamas, a specialist partner for maximising turbine operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering scheduled and unscheduled maintenance services to Vestas V47 and V52 wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the highest levels of safety to comply with all health and safety requirements, including the WTSR.
  • Perform scheduled service in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Coordinate local spare part and consumable stock.
  • Attend and faulted turbines in a timely manner to fault-find, troubleshoot, maintain and repair on all turbine systems, including mechanical, electrical and hydraulic assemblies and major components.
  • Proactively repair or component replacement to prevent complete failure or system downtime.
  • Ensure the highest level of turbine availability.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with the team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience and knowledge of the wind industry, particularly working with V47 and V52 turbines.
  • In-depth knowledge of wind turbine technology, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to fault find and problem solve.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong experience of managing risks and challenges of working in a wind turbine environment.
  • High level of physical fitness and good health.
  • Full UK driving licence.
