Job Title: Technician - Adamas

Adamas, part of the Galetech group, is a specialist partner for maximising turbine operations.

We provide Asset Management and Operations and Maintenance support to the renewable energy sector with our innovative, customer-focused approach.

Job Purpose:

As a Technician, you will report to the O&M Area Manager and be expected to deliver scheduled and unscheduled maintenance services to Vestas V47 and V52 wind turbines.

  • Maintain the highest levels of safety to comply with all health and safety requirements, including the WTSR.
  • Perform scheduled service in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Coordinate local spare part and consumable stock.
  • Attend and faulted turbines in a timely manner to fault-find, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all turbine systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic assemblies and major components.
  • Proactively repair or replace components to prevent complete failure or system downtime.
  • Ensure the highest level of turbine availability.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently.
Qualifications, Experience, and Transferable Skills:
  • Proven experience and knowledge of the wind industry, particularly working with V47 and V52 turbines.
  • In-depth knowledge of wind turbine technology, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to fault-find and problem-solve.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong experience of managing risks and challenges of working in a wind turbine environment.
  • High level of physical fitness and good health.
  • Full UK driving licence.
