Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team as a Patient Flow Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to work in a high-performing team, fostering good relationships and ensuring effective patient flow.
Main Responsibilities- Contribute to the smooth running of the service on a daily basis, assisting the Discharge Coordinating team to ensure key reports and quality and performance targets are met.
- Support the delivery of services across Patient Flow and in developing standardized administration processes.
- Provide supervision and support with the management of Patient Flow Coordinator, including recruitment, selection, workload allocation, performance management, PDR, absences, and cover arrangements.
- Work collaboratively with the Patient Flow Service Manager, Bed Managers, and Patient Flow Coordinator (Band 4) to coordinate and manage all administration processes and operational issues effectively.
- Diploma in administration, business, or management (or significant experience in an administrative role).
- Recent experience of working in a mental health or social care setting, preferably in an inpatient hospital setting or community.
- Highly competent user of MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and internet.
- Experience of using large databases, arranging bookings for meetings and workshops, diary management, and taking/transcribing minutes.
- Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of differing needs of service users with different disabilities and clinical conditions.
