Our organization hosts various events, including Birthday Celebrations and Holiday Play Programs at our leisure facilities across the UK. These programs, designed for children aged 5 and above, offer a secure and enjoyable environment for young ones while providing convenience for working parents. As part of a collaborative team, you will be responsible for creating a structured, safe, and enjoyable atmosphere utilizing the resources available. You will lead children through a variety of creative activities, including arts & crafts and sports, which may encompass football, basketball, swimming (when feasible), trampolining, and inflatable fun. Fostering an atmosphere of respect and camaraderie among children from diverse backgrounds is essential. Additionally, you will play a vital role in assisting with children's birthday celebrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and facilitate structured activities for groups of children. Ensure that birthday celebrations meet the expectations of the celebrant and their guests. Promote positive behavior through appropriate praise and encouragement.Required Qualifications:
A minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare / Play Work or a Level 2 coaching certification is essential, with the ability to address both group and individual needs. Familiarity with Ofsted regulations and Health & Safety standards is advantageous, along with an understanding of parental expectations regarding childcare services.
