Lead the Way in Girls' PE at Co-op Academy Leeds

We're seeking an exceptional Physical Education Subject Leader to join our team at Co-op Academy Leeds. As the Lead of Girls' PE, you'll be responsible for delivering effective teaching and learning in Physical Education, while raising the profile of PE and sports within the academy and wider learning community.

As a true advocate for the subject, you'll develop and promote high-quality extra-curricular activities and opportunities for our young people. Your passion for PE, particularly in girls' PE, will be essential in inspiring and motivating students to achieve their potential.

You'll work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an outstanding working and learning experience for all. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to develop into a Regional Sports Event Coordinator, organizing sports activities, fixtures, and competitions across the Co-op Academies Trust in Leeds.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing effective PE curriculum and extra-curricular programs
  • Leading and managing a team of PE staff
  • Coordinating sports events and competitions
  • Collaborating with colleagues to promote PE and sports within the academy
