Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conduct regular cost analysis to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Complete VAT returns and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Assist with the monthly payroll process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Support the team in financial reporting and year-end audit preparation, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Provide support in the management of accounts payable/receivable, ensuring timely payment and reconciliation.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, maintaining a high level of integrity.
  • Participate in cross-departmental projects, collaborating with colleagues to drive business growth.
  • Support other team members and departments as needed, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a strong foundation in financial principles.
  • Ideal candidates will be studying towards an accounting qualification, such as ACCA or CIMA.
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software, with a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision.
