Job Overview

ROLE SUMMARY

At JLR, Salesforce serves as a pivotal technology element driving numerous digital transformation projects that will enhance our digital infrastructure. Recognizing the significance of Salesforce, we have established a dedicated Centre of Excellence aimed at centralizing all Salesforce-related capabilities within a single entity.

In this role, you will take on a leadership position, guiding JLR's business units in comprehending and validating Salesforce technical solutions. You will also mentor fellow Technical Architects to ensure that user and customer objectives remain at the forefront of both project design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic discussions that are both technical and business-oriented to develop exceptional Commerce Cloud capabilities and value for JLR.
  • Provide guidance to the broader Digital technical community and cultivate relationships with senior business executives to influence design initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other members of the JLR Salesforce Centre of Excellence and associated teams to formulate and execute optimal strategies.
  • Effectively communicate the capabilities of Commerce Cloud technology, application development, infrastructure, security, and integration, demonstrating how these can be utilized to enhance user and customer outcomes.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the potential for further innovation through Commerce Cloud capabilities across JLR and contribute to the strategy for JLR's Salesforce platforms and tools, ensuring adoption across relevant sectors.

Qualifications Required

  • In-depth knowledge of Commerce Cloud, including its configuration, business functionalities, and development processes.
  • Hands-on experience in providing technical support for Commerce Cloud, including troubleshooting, with the ability to engage stakeholders constructively.
  • Proven experience in Salesforce administration, implementation, and strategic planning.
  • Salesforce certification is preferred, ideally as an Application and/or System Architect.
