The Duty and Assessment Social Worker will undertake Care and Well-being assessments and Section 47 Child protection investigations, working closely with partner agencies to ensure effective collaboration and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake Care and Well-being assessments and Section 47 Child protection investigations
- Work closely with partner agencies to develop and maintain effective relationships
- Use Safety Planning with families to empower them to seek solutions to situations where a child could be deemed in need or at risk
- Participate in monthly team meetings and regular catch-up sessions to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS Check
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and a can-do attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
