Job Summary:

Expleo Group UK Jobs is seeking a skilled Connected Vehicle Software Engineer to join our team in Bedfordshire. As a key member of our global automotive client's development team, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative and cutting-edge technology solutions for our clients.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Electronics Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in connected car development, including telematics systems, and excellent knowledge of vehicle body electronics, navigation, and telematics systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test connected car systems, including telematics systems, vehicle body electronics, and navigation systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technology solutions that meet our clients' needs.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system design documents, test plans, and technical reports.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our solutions.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience in automotive electrical and electronic development, including vehicle body electronics, navigation, and telematics systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of connected car systems, including on-board and off-board systems.
  • Strong understanding of telematics system development and test execution using tools or connecting real hardware and software.
  • A valid UK/European driving license and ability to travel abroad, sometimes at short notice.
