Responsibilities

As a Lead HR Consultant, your duties will include:

  • Providing support to the Head of People (HoP) for all HR-related inquiries from various departments, including sales and operational teams.
  • Assisting the HoP in managing disciplinary and performance-related matters.
  • Collaborating with the HoP to oversee and track Performance Improvement Plans in conjunction with line managers.
  • Facilitating flexible working requests in accordance with company policy.
  • Assisting with employee terminations, including resignations and redundancies.
  • Ensuring compliance with ISO standards within HR department activities.
  • Advising the HoP on workplace and legislative changes.
  • Contributing to the review and enhancement of HR policies and internal procedures to ensure best practices and compliance.
  • Assisting in the implementation of new workplace and employment policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring adherence to changes in HR legislation.

Candidate Profile

  • CIPD qualified (Level 3 or 5) or working towards qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an HR role within the private sector.
  • Experience in drafting policies, contracts, and other HR-related documentation.
  • Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
  • Experience in managing employee relations tasks, such as disciplinary actions and grievances.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
