Finance Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Assistant to support our finance department at Anglian Home Improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, process invoices, and reconcile bank statements.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers, record transactions, and manage expense reports.
  • Support financial reporting, prepare statements, and analyze financial data for accuracy.
  • Create and send invoices to clients, follow up on overdue payments, and manage collections.
  • Reconcile bank statements with our records and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as filing, correspondence, and data entry, to support the finance team.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a finance assistant or in a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and technical proficiency in financial software.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and grow, with a passion for numbers and finance.
