Production Operator Job Description

H.B. Fuller is seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team in Preston, UK. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating equipment and processes to ensure high-quality products are produced in compliance with legal and company regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare raw materials and packaging according to process instructions and procedures.
  • Operate equipment, verify and load raw materials, take samples, and unload and pack products.
  • Perform quality control checks on products, making necessary adjustments and reporting to the Production Manager/Supervisor.
  • Ensure production meets work instructions and operating conditions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to quality and operating procedures.
Requirements:
  • Basic educational degree or High school diploma or general education diploma.
  • 3+ years' experience as Production Operator II or 5+ years in an industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of common software programs (MS office).
  • Ability to read and understand work orders, production process, safety regulations, and quality procedures.
Physical Environment:

Requires standing for long periods, walking, climbing stairs, using hands to remove or lift boxes, stretching, reaching, stooping, and bending. Regularly lifts up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance.

This role is subject to the physical demands of the production environment and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
