About the Role

At Tesco, we're looking for a talented and dedicated individual to join our Cafe team as a Back of House Team Member. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and enjoy a great dining experience.

As a Back of House Team Member, you'll be responsible for preparing food, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring that our high standards are met. You'll work closely with our team to deliver excellent customer service, and your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be essential in ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare food to a high standard, following our recipes and guidelines
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to our health and safety standards
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and concerns
• Work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues to deliver excellent service
• Maintain accurate records, including inventory and stock levels

• Basic food preparation skills and knowledge of health and safety standards
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Basic math skills and ability to maintain accurate records
