Associate Director of Operations

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director of Operations to join our team at NHS. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for promoting the vision and values of our organization, leading by example, and ensuring that they demonstrate those values in their leadership behaviors and how we support our team and GP member practices and deliver our services.
Main Responsibilities:- Support our member practices in helping them to provide patients with high-quality care;
- Lead on the planning, development, and delivery of services;
- Ensure that digital technologies underpin the way services are delivered at present and in the future and drive all aspects of innovation and service improvement;
- Be responsible for all aspects of the operational performance of the organization while maintaining quality standards and ensuring good governance arrangements, including line management of all GPF employees and associated teams.
- Ensure that all quality and access standards are achieved across all services provided;
- Put in place remedial action plans with milestones and trajectories in the event of non-delivery of quality and access standards or expectations to ensure improvement is monitored and delivered;
- Develop, maintain, and refresh forecasting and trigger tools relevant to the organization to identify risks to the delivery of quality and access standards, producing summary reports as required.
- Ensure that proposed service developments are supported by robust business plans that clearly identify all activity, quality, and strategic benefits, including full evaluation of income, cost, risks, and anticipated outcomes;
- Ensure that digital technologies underpin the way services are delivered and drive all aspects of innovation and service developments within the organization;
- Embed effective Clinical Governance, Risk Management, and Controls Assurance systems into the culture of the organization;
- Ensure robust financial management systems and processes are in place to optimally utilize all budgets and resources.
- Ensure that GPF operates an effective staff development process, fostering a culture that reflects the values of the organization;
- Maintain and develop key GPF policies and procedures to adhere to all current aspects of employment law.
Requirements:
- Evidence of recent management and leadership development;
- Commitment to improving quality of patient care through associated service provision;
- Determination, perseverance, emotional intelligence, and resilience;
- Experience of the management of complex projects;
- Experience of budgetary management;
- Extensive senior management experience within primary care/Primary Care Networks.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strategic vision and planning;
- Ability to work effectively in a complex, matrix management organizational structure.
