About the Role

Cento is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our team in a hybrid role. As a key member of our projects team, you will be responsible for managing mechanical fire projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Review and Handover: Review assigned projects from a technical and commercial perspective, ensuring they meet our quality and safety standards.
  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Create and issue project programs and task schedules that align with client timelines and programs of work.
  • Procurement and Cash Flow Management: Establish procurement schedules and cash flow forecasts to maximize margin and maintain positive cash flow throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Management and Coordination: Serve as the main point of contact for design, planning, procurement, coordination, installation, commissioning, and handover of assigned projects.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure quality documentation and certifications are produced, completed, and issued during the build, commissioning, and handover stages of the project.
  • Cost Control: Maintain cost control, ensuring all applications, invoices, variation costings, and claims are current, up-to-date, and submitted monthly within agreed timeframes.
  • Project Close-Out: Complete all final certifications, O&M manuals, close-out forms, and required training, formally handing over to the service team as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Mechanical Fire Project Management
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
