Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Primary School

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School in the Grimsby area. This is a part-time position, working Monday to Friday.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with a student with additional needs, providing individualized support to ensure their educational journey is as enriching as possible. Your primary duties will include:

  • Providing individualized assistance to the assigned student
  • Implementing strategies to support the student's learning and development
  • Collaborating with the class teacher to adapt and tailor lessons as needed
  • Assisting with the student's personal care and well-being
  • Monitoring and recording progress, communicating effectively with parents and the school team
Requirements

  • Experience working with children
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting the educational needs of students with special needs
