Global Legal and Business Affairs Executive Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Legal and Business Affairs executive to join our team, working closely with our production/distribution company to draft, negotiate, and revise agreements and documents related to content creation and promotion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct chain of title reviews and turnaround agreements
  • Review and provide guidance to guilds on signatory processes and collective bargaining agreements
  • Handle legal delivery of productions
  • Conduct legal reviews of main/end titles and creative/related marketing materials
  • Supervise paralegals and support from senior executives
  • Review and negotiate clearances and music license agreements
  • Draft, negotiate, and review agreements for day-to-day production work

About You

We are looking for an individual with several years of experience in legal production work, preferably in-house, within a business affairs/legal department or law firm. You will possess excellent skills in drafting contracts and negotiating the best possible terms.

You must be able to demonstrate an ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, meeting deadlines promptly. Legal training is essential, and a good knowledge of French would be highly advantageous.
