We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Porter Team Leader to join our dynamic team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. This role offers the opportunity to lead and supervise a team of porters, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of essential services across the hospital.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of porters, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Oversee the efficient allocation of porter staff and resources to meet fluctuating demands across various hospital departments.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety guidelines and Trust policies and procedures at all times.
- Manage the computerised porter job allocation and activity reporting system, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate patient transport, deliveries, and other essential services.
- Promote a positive and supportive work environment, fostering teamwork and communication within the team.
