Drive Business Intelligence Maturity at Rotork

This role will spearhead the advancement of Rotork's Business Intelligence function by leading the efficient and reliable flow of data within the organisation.

Sitting within the Development Team, the Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing systems for collecting, storing, and analysing large volumes of data.

Key responsibilities include creating data pipelines, optimising databases, implementing ETL processes, and ensuring data quality and governance.

The ideal candidate will have skills predominantly in Azure, with a solid background in on-premises solutions and recent exposure to cloud-based services.

They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

This role is suited for a technical expert ready to bring innovative ideas to the table and help shape the future of BI in the organisation.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Demonstrable experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Azure services
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and database management systems
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Synapse
