About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Domiciliary Care Coordinator to join our team at LKA Recruitment. As a key member of our care services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our service users receive outstanding care in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the smooth running of care services, maintaining the highest standards of care delivered to service users.
  • Oversee care shifts and manage the wellbeing of both staff and service users in the absence of the Home Care Manager.
  • Support service users in their day-to-day activities, ensuring their care plans are followed and their needs are met.
  • Train and assess staff to ensure safe and effective administration of medication.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold a professional image at all times.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a care setting with vulnerable individuals.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Empathy, understanding, and a proactive approach to meeting service users' needs.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and health and safety practices.
  • Ability to make balanced and timely decisions and involve others in the decision-making process.
