Quantity Surveyor Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and driven quantity surveyor to join our team in Exeter. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing residential development projects in North Devon, with a focus on cost analysis, risk management, and value engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct cost comparisons for subcontractors from tender enquiry to contract placement.
  2. Identify and mitigate risks, ensure cost control, and implement value management strategies.
  3. Prepare valuations, measurements, and final accounts, including CVRs.
  4. Predict profitability and ensure projects stay within budget.
Requirements:
  1. A background in housing development is essential.
  2. Experience in running residential projects is required.
  3. A degree or HNC in a relevant field, such as construction or quantity surveying, is preferred.
  4. Strong communication and negotiation skills are necessary.
  5. Fully IT literate and a team player.

We offer a competitive salary and package for candidates with a proven track record in residential development. The successful candidate will split their time between the office and sites in North Devon, with one day working from home.
