Our client delivers facilities maintenance services and project works to the Ministry of Defence and commercial clients at multiple sites in the South West and South East.
Main Duties:- Analysis of Requirements: Produce contract life cycle cost plans to ensure accurate financial projections.
- Stakeholder Support: Provide clarification and support to stakeholders on contract queries, ensuring seamless communication.
- Quotation and Tendering: Develop comprehensive quotations to secure new business opportunities.
- Cost Management: Oversee all aspects of project or contract cost management, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Supply Chain Engagement: Engage with the supply chain, conduct procurement, and manage framework contracts.
- Health and Safety: Understand the implications of H&S regulations and industry requirements, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Invoice Authorization: Authorize supply chain invoices and settle accounts in a timely manner.
- Invoicing and Applications: Carry out invoicing and applications as necessary, ensuring accurate financial records.
- Pricing and Variations: Price billable works and agree variations with clients, ensuring fair and transparent pricing.
- Cash Flow Forecasts: Produce cash flow forecasts as necessary, ensuring the company's financial stability.
- Commercial Procedures: Maintain and contribute to robust commercial procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Commercial Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks, ensuring the company's financial security.
- Industry Knowledge: Maintain and develop a knowledge of industry developments and practices, ensuring the company's competitiveness.
- Interdepartmental Relations: Build and maintain effective working relations with other departments, ensuring seamless collaboration.
- Industry Relevance: Hold an industry-relevant qualification, demonstrating expertise in construction or maintenance.
- Commercial Experience: Possess commercial experience in a construction or maintenance environment, with a proven track record of success.
- Cost Management: Manage project costs effectively, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Facilities Management: Have knowledge of facilities management processes, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Client and Supply Chain Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and the supply chain, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Microsoft Office: Proficient in Microsoft Office software, with a strong understanding of Excel and its applications.
- Estimating and SORs: Possess estimating and SORs skills, ensuring accurate and transparent pricing.
- M and E Experience: Have experience in managing and estimating, ensuring the company's financial stability.
- Formal Quantity Surveying Qualification: Hold a formal Quantity Surveying qualification, demonstrating expertise in construction or maintenance.
- IACCM/WCC Practitioner: Possess IACCM/WCC Practitioner status, ensuring a high level of commercial expertise.
- CIPS or Equivalent: Hold CIPS or equivalent certification, demonstrating a strong understanding of procurement and supply chain management.
- CIWFM: Possess CIWFM certification, ensuring a high level of facilities management expertise.
- RICS Accreditation: Hold RICS Accreditation, demonstrating a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
