About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Plant Operative to join our team at our Redditch Asphalt operation.

This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires a strong passion for customer service and a commitment to safety and quality.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks, including welcoming customers, processing orders, operating the plant control system, and undertaking light maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcoming customers and providing excellent customer service
  • Processing orders and operating the plant control system
  • Undertaking light maintenance tasks, including housekeeping duties
  • Operating mobile plants and equipment
  • Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the plant
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong IT literacy and ability to learn new systems
  • Flexibility with work hours and willingness to work weekends
  • Desire for training and willingness to learn
  • Ability to develop a sound appreciation of Health & Safety, housekeeping and environmental regulations
