Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with their mental health and behaviour, helping them to process and regulate their emotions.
  • Work alongside the class teacher to create a safe and engaging learning environment where students can flourish and meet their goals.
  • Help to deescalate high emotions and support students in regulating their behaviour.
  • Assist the class teacher in preparing lesson materials and maintaining a tidy classroom.
Requirements:
  • Confidence and a compassionate, positive personality.
  • Proactive and able to take initiative.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to deescalate heightened emotions.
  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one.
