Key Responsibilities- Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, cooking, and medication management.
- Support individuals to engage in activities and hobbies, promoting social inclusion and community participation.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring that each person's needs are met.
- Experience working with adults with learning disabilities, preferably in a care or support setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals and colleagues.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Manual handling skills and ability to lift and move individuals as required.
- Driver's license (desirable).
