The Loqate Technology Team is responsible for providing location capture, address verification, geocoding, and data enrichment solutions to allow businesses to find, validate, and know everything there is to know about a specific location.

What you will do:

As a Lead Performance Software Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Raising the bar for technical standards, performance, reliability, and operational excellence
  • Mentoring and coaching others to help them be the best they can be
  • Ensuring continuous deployment and incremental releases
  • Taking responsibility for platform health and observability, using our own data to understand user behavior and drive product development

What we're looking for:

  • A strong foundation in software engineering principles and deep knowledge of a high-level programming language (C# and Go are used heavily in this product)
  • Strong knowledge of NoSQL database technologies
  • Experience designing algorithmic software for scale, performance, and high availability
  • A passion for promoting engineering excellence in those around you through coaching and guiding individuals, and the team as a whole, to influence change
