This newly created role is a result of significant expansion and will involve occasional travel to various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the procurement team, ensuring that key performance indicators (KPIs) are established and met consistently.
  • Manage employee relations casework, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) set by senior management.
  • Provide support to multiple site locations, ensuring that team projects align with the strategic objectives of the organization.
  • Mentor and guide coordinators and advisors within the procurement team, offering support in employee relations matters and providing legal advice in accordance with company policies.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with management and the procurement team to facilitate the organization’s growth and strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct site visits to provide face-to-face support to various business areas on a regular basis.
  • Advise management on absence management, employee relations handling, and necessary training to empower managers in effectively leading their teams.
  • Lead projects related to transfers of undertakings, organizational restructuring, and redundancy as needed.
  • Compile and analyze employee relations dashboards to monitor metrics such as headcount, absenteeism, casework, and exit interviews.
  • Prepare documentation and reports related to personnel activities, including recruitment, training, and performance assessments.
  • Execute procurement team projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and obtaining necessary approvals at each stage.
  • Oversee recruitment processes across various locations, managing job postings and ensuring a seamless transition from requisition to offer.
  • Commit to ongoing personal development and maintain records of professional growth.
  • Engage in relevant training opportunities, both internally and externally.
  • Discuss personal development needs with management to consistently achieve best practices and enhance performance.
  • Drive recruitment efforts to attract and retain top talent within the organization.
  • Complete mandatory training as required.
  • Ensure that policies and procedures are effective and up to date.
  • Collaborate with the Quality team to ensure adherence to regulatory and quality standards.
  • Utilize data-driven approaches in decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in talent acquisition and employee relations.
  • Strong background in performance management.
  • Proven ability to coach and support team members and management.
  • Knowledge of compensation and benefits practices.
  • Experience in implementing equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Expertise in organizational and change management.
