Security Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team at ABM UK. As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of security contracts to the highest standards at our client site, Eastgate Shopping Centre.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of security staff to ensure the highest standards of security and customer service.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure all public areas, service yards, common areas, and back-of-house areas are fully secured and safe.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the estate and ensure that all security staff are aware of their responsibilities in this regard.
- Recruit, train, and develop security team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Implement and update assignment instructions and risk assessments to ensure the security team is aware of potential risks and can take appropriate action to mitigate them.
- Ensure clear and effective communication with key personnel and stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and partners.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners to ensure the security team is seen as a valued and integral part of the estate's operations.
- Prior experience in a similar role, preferably within a security environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve high standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a focus on customer care, with the ability to provide a high level of service to clients and customers.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and fire prevention procedures, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical and effective way.
