Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Paediatric Service at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical psychology services to children and families across the region.
About the Role:This is a Band 7 to 8a development opportunity, using the Annex 21 process. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide consultation, training, and support to staff across the trust. You will also be responsible for developing the clinical psychology service in conjunction with senior colleagues and supervising more junior colleagues, trainee, and assistant psychologists or other psychological practitioners.
Key Responsibilities:- Contributing to MDT care planning and review
- Providing consultation, training, and support to the wider team
- Developing the clinical psychology service in conjunction with senior colleagues
- Supervision of more junior colleagues, trainee, and assistant psychologists or other psychological practitioners
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a post-graduate qualification in Clinical Psychology, registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC), and post-qualification experience of working within the fields of paediatric, adolescent, or adult health psychology. You will also need to have experience in designing, planning, and undertaking clinical research and service evaluation, as well as experience in assessment and therapeutic work with children and families across the age range.
