Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the pastry team to ensure seamless service delivery and high-quality food production.
  • Develop and implement innovative pastry menus that showcase the hotel's commitment to excellence.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create harmonious and visually stunning dishes.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize resources.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or Senior Pastry Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
  • Proven track record of leading a team and driving results-oriented performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
