As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the pastry department and contributing to the creation of exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the pastry team to ensure seamless service delivery and high-quality food production.
- Develop and implement innovative pastry menus that showcase the hotel's commitment to excellence.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create harmonious and visually stunning dishes.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize resources.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or Senior Pastry Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
- Proven track record of leading a team and driving results-oriented performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
