Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Waiter/Waitress to join our team at Midlands. As a key member of our service staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests upon arrival and escort them to their table
  • Present menus and take orders for food and beverages
  • Make recommendations to guests regarding food and beverage selections
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner
  • Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any issues
  • Process payment for meals and handle cash and credit card transactions
  • Assist with setup and clean-up of the restaurant before and after service
  • Clean and reset tables for the next guests
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery of food and beverages

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail, highly organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks
  • A proactive self-starter who can work independently with good judgment and minimal direction
