Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Lung Function Administrator/Receptionist at Barts Health NHS Trust. This is a multidisciplinary role that will enable the post holder to develop transferable skills and work in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all clinics and lists are fully booked in line with the Trust's Access Policy. This will involve scheduling and waiting list management services for Respiratory Lung Function services. The post holder will also be required to answer telephone queries, manage the reception desk, and cover administrative duties.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues
  • GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Ability to input and retrieve information on a computerized system
