Job Summary:

The Senior Clinical Advisor will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of interventions within the Thrive Model, aligned with SET CAMHS and NICE guidance. This position requires a clinician with extensive experience in working with young people who present with complexity and significant levels of distress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment, treatment, and outcome measurement for young people with mental health difficulties
  • Provide clinical supervision to staff, focusing on development and growth
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Lead and Team Manager to deliver psychological support across the service
  • Develop innovative strategies to support young people and their families, including those with neurodevelopmental diagnoses and co-morbidities
  • Supervise and manage others, with support and training provided for the right candidate

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in working with young people with complex mental health needs
  • Strong clinical skills, with a focus on assessment, treatment, and outcome measurement
  • Ability to provide clinical supervision and support staff development
  • Experience in developing and implementing interventions within a mental health setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders
