Department: Quilter Cheviot Financial Planning (QCFP)

Contract Type: Permanent

Due to our ongoing expansion, Quilter Cheviot Financial Planning is seeking a Financial Planning Manager to collaborate with our innovative and forward-looking financial planning team.

The Financial Planning Manager will oversee a team of Financial Planners regionally, who are tasked with ongoing client servicing and retention, as well as identifying new business opportunities.

The primary focus of this role is on leadership, management, and the development of Financial Planners, while also supporting business growth and delivering advice directly to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Management
  • Oversee a team of Financial Planners
  • Ensure production aligns with profitability targets in accordance with business objectives
  • Facilitate collaboration between Financial Planners and their Investment Manager counterparts
  • Plan joint initiatives to enhance business development opportunities
  • Lead and manage local initiatives and events
  • Monitor business production and client engagement strategies
  • Oversee employment contracts and performance evaluations
  • Support the continuous development of the team to uphold high advisory standards
  • Conduct observations of client meetings, providing coaching and feedback for enhanced performance
  • Establish and analyze Management Information related to QCFP
  • Ensure all necessary MI is compiled and reported as required
  • Assist in recruiting and developing high-quality Financial Planners to sustain business growth
  • Disseminate key communications from QCFP across all advisers
People & Leadership
  • Exemplify leadership qualities and embody Quilter's values to inspire and motivate the team
  • Manage the Financial Planner team to deliver the core QCFP proposition
  • Contribute to cross-group collaboration and participation in value-adding initiatives
  • Work with senior leadership to develop colleagues and identify talent
  • Collaborate with other members of the regional leadership team
  • Support the development of a diverse workforce
Relationship Management
  • Establish and maintain trust-based relationships with key stakeholders
