We are seeking a highly skilled Property Underwriter to join our Corporate Property team at Aviva. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for underwriting UK and multinational corporate property business, contributing to the development and execution of our team strategy and business plan, and delivering an excellent service to our customers and business partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwrite UK and multinational corporate property business, including risk assessment, pricing, coverage, and terms setting
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, brokers, and business partners
  • Contribute to the development and execution of our team strategy and business plan
  • Deliver excellent service to customers and business partners, including complaint handling and negotiation
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, issues, and dynamics, including reinsurance
Requirements
  • Good level of experience in property insurance, including underwriting, risk assessment, pricing, coverage, and terms setting
  • Good customer service and complaint handling skills, including communication and negotiation skills
  • Understanding of global insurance products and regulatory aspects of writing commercial insurance
  • Good knowledge of the market, its issues, and dynamics, including reinsurance
  • ACII qualification or progression towards preferable
