As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification on commercial printing machinery, conducting planned and preventative maintenance on site machinery, and following health and safety policies and procedures. You will also collaborate with the engineering manager to ensure smooth production of the plant and take part in 6S Lean Manufacturing within the Engineering department.

Responsibilities:

* Electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification on commercial printing machinery
* Conducting planned and preventative maintenance on site machinery
* Following health and safety policies and procedures
* Collaborating with the engineering manager to ensure smooth production of the plant
* Taking part in 6S Lean Manufacturing within the Engineering department
* Attending regular maintenance meetings to review current PPMs and breakdowns of the plant machinery.

Requirements:

* Minimum 3 years experience as a maintenance engineer
* Multiskilled engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias
* Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic fault finding capabilities
* Relevant mechanical/electrical Qualifications (City and Guilds/NVQs/17th/18th edition)
* PLC knowledge - proven ability to modify (advantageous)
* In-depth understanding of fault finding/diagnostics on manufacturing machinery
