Position Overview

In light of ongoing investments, this advanced manufacturing firm is actively expanding its workforce and is seeking a Lead Electrical Systems Engineer to enhance their dynamic team. This role is available on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

To bolster and broaden the capabilities within the UK, we are in search of a contractor to provide expertise as a Lead Electrical Systems Engineer, focusing on the development of Aerospace Cabin interior projects.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing teams that create electrical installation models and detailed schematics for new product and platform designs. Therefore, substantial experience in team leadership and managing performance indicators is essential.

Additionally, you will be tasked with reviewing and approving all electrical design outputs to ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications. Strong stakeholder engagement and exceptional communication skills are crucial for success in this role.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in the Aerospace or Automotive industry in an Electrical Engineering capacity
  • Proficient knowledge of CATIA V5
  • Ability to interpret design schematics and specifications
  • Experience in electrical routing design and installations
  • Team Leadership and Management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
