As a key member of our engineering function, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating engineering systems and procedures, as well as assisting with the management of engineering stores.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Administration of Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including management of work orders and PPM schedules, maintaining up-to-date asset records, and producing weekly and monthly KPI reports.
  • Providing ad-hoc support and training on the CMMS.
  • Maintenance of accurate and easily retrievable filing system for legislative compliance purposes.
  • Raising, sending confirmation to suppliers, and arranging delivery of orders. Receipting and invoice matching.
  • Preparation of reports to support the management team.
  • Carry out inventory checks of stores and manage any adjustments.
  • Creation of Purchase orders through Shire/NAV, invoice checking, and receipting process (finance/engineering led).
  • Driving store optimisation across the site.
  • Use of Shire Systems (CMMS) to record and monitor part usage and holding and Navision to manage new parts.
  • Support the wider team to ensure Pirana and Navision is utilised to its full potential in the Purchasing arena. Ensuring Group Purchasing systems are maintained and up to date, with Group IT.
